As you well know, I started taking a serious interest in buying, selling and flipping websites ever since I took everything in from going through the Site Rush system by Saj P/Alex Goad and initially it was like drinking from the fire hydrant. I went from not knowing anything to do with websites, to buying, selling, setting up and marketing websites.

But I loved every page of the 250 on pdf. In fact, almost all of the stuff talked about in the ebook are still very much valid these days for people who are serious about buying, selling and flipping websites. For whatever reasons they may have in doing so.

Now, here’s a course that may heighten the whole flipping websites business. It’s Auto Content Cash by Alex Goad, Brian Johnson and Jared hmm..I forgot the surname, sorry. Ahh.. after having Googled, here it is, Jared Coslow.

Value of Site = Keyword Domain

ChocgoldcoinWhen I first started flipping sites, I was doing more of arbitrage, ie. find a reasonably good website in places like Digital Point and Ebay and list it on Sitepoint (now renamed Flippa.com).

The Advantages of Buying Or Selling an Established Website and Domain Name

It is usually a brilliant idea to buy or sell websites that already has traffic coming to them and especially better if the websites are already receiving some form of revenue, however small.  Due to the consideration that some preliminary work must have been done to attract traffic, hopefully all via white-hat avenues, the new owners of the websites would be able to focus better on marketing and strategizing to gain further foothold on the revenue and profit charts, instead of starting from scratch.

This is definitely advantageous than having to work on a new site and domain.  Already, a huge block of time and energy would have been spent on processes such as registering a good domain name, inputting good resources and laying the foundation of SEO.  Certainly, with that foresight, looks like it is better to buy over a good existing site complete with domain name.

The marketplace of websites have grown in somewhat over the years.  There are several places to trade websites nowadays, apart from Ebay – probably the first one many look into before learning of others.  The types of established websites serious buyers tend to shop for are the ones monetized via Adsense – stable Adsense income, that is.  Apparently, the stability of Adsense income indicates among other things, such as good quality content, good SEO base or even a better pageranking.
